Eastwest BioScience to present at Thinking North Investment Network Meeting on October 18, 2018.
Vancouver, British Columbia – Harbour Star Capital Corp. dba EastWest Bioscience (the “Company” or “EastWest”) (TSX.V: EAST) announces it will be holding its Annual and Special Shareholders Meeting on November 9, 2018 at which it plans to change its name from “Harbour Star Capital Inc.” to “Eastwest BioScience Inc.”.
Eastwest has also been invited to present at an upcoming bi-monthly Thinking North Investment Mashup meeting between 3:00 and 8:00 PM at the Vantage Venues, 150 King Street West in Toronto. Thinking North is a network of influential angel investors, venture capitalists, financial executives, and business owners interested in investing in promising new companies.
“We’re excited to have been invited to the Thinking North event. It’s an important opportunity for us,” explains Rodney Gelineau, CEO of Eastwest BioScience. “As a startup it’s easy to find ourselves pitching to only a handful of investors, or attending events where only a few people show up or can actually invest. Thinking North promises to put us in front of a roomful where virtually all of the attendees are real investors, financial professionals, CEOs, and business executives.”
Historically, most of the attendees at Thinking North Investor Networking meetings are investment professionals, business owners, and executives. Presenting at Thinking North will be an opportunity for Eastwest to be introduced to a broad new base of potential investors, and to connect with many interested business leaders in a comfortable business setting.
Thinking North invites only high growth potential companies whose businesses address significant issues. While their focus is in the technology space, they welcome businesses across a wide range of industries and their investors have interest in both private and public companies in various deal stages.
