EastWest Bioscience Ships Its New Line of Delicious Hemp and Fruit Snack Bars under Its growing Earth’s Menu Brand

VANCOUVER, BC / February 7, 2019 / EastWest Bioscience (the “Company” or “EastWest”) (TSX.V: EAST) announces the first shipment this week of its premium granola-style hemp seed and fruit snack bars under its Earth’s Menu food product brand. Chewy Goodness, Unapologetically Delicious snack bars have been formulated in three delicious and nutritious flavours – Omega Apple, Omega Cranberry and Blueberry Raisin – all Kosher and Peanut free. The first products are shipping into Eastwest’s two warehouse facilities this week with retail purchase orders already in the pipeline.

“The Company’s HEMP Harmony Hemp Seeds have been well received and are selling well in stores,” states Rodney Gelineau, CEO of Eastwest BioScience, “but hemp seeds by themselves are a commodity food and store buyers are requesting innovative hemp products. The Company is moving to penetrate several categories within the retail store environment. By increasing exposure into multiple categories, it increases the potential for getting our hemp based products into the consumers shopping basket. Expanding the Earth’s Menu brand increases brand recognition and getting great tasting products on consumers tables will increase brand loyalty.
